Why is it you so frequently think of the exact same thing as your partner at the exact same time?

If it happened once you could consider it an odd coincidence. But for those of us in long term relationships it happens time and time again. It’s such a frequent occurrence in house that my other half actually says “Well that must have been Telepathy.”

But why should this occur more often with that one person? Well firstly of course, you are around each other a lot more than anyone else, so that alone is likely to increase the odds. And that is where most people leave it. Common coincidence.

But frankly that lacks a little imagination. Isn’t it far more likely that something else is at work? That in some way you have become attuned to each other to the point where you think on the same wavelength?

We have no idea how anybody else’s thought processes work. We imagine they are the same as our own but why the hell should they be? I have the same two legs as Usain Bolt but my legs don’t function in the same way as his. Every part of your body and being works in a fractionally different way to everybody else. It’s what makes you, you. So in the same way that your body physically alters over time, why shouldn’t your mind. And it’s likely that change would occur in your mind a way that would be of benefit to itself. Think Charles Darwin.

Now this might sound like I’m trying to convince you of Telepathy’s existence which I promised not to do. But I’m not. We have already accepted Telepathy as a given.

No. What I am revealing here is a huge opportunity to take your own research a step further on. If you have a partner or sibling amenable to the idea, (and I do not) then your advantage is massive. It should be possible to make huge strides by working with someone already attuned to your own wavelength, rather than maybe hoping to pick up something from a random individual on the street.

If you can get your better half involved with experiments of your own, your results will likely be increased exponentially.

It’s certain that there will be people out there far better than me at CT. The same way that Usain Bolt is better at running than me.

So here I am. Some nutter. Chucking out a line. Reaching out. Trying my best to find you.
